Hello, I’m Anna. I’m a UX Researcher that facilitates empathetic design by uncovering + amplifying the stories of others.

As a ux designer turned researcher I’m passionate about connection through storytelling. Pairing my design experience with my graduate studies, I am skilled in conducting both generative and evaluative research, analyzing user feedback, and translating findings into actionable design recommendations. By uncovering insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams, I aim to drive empathetic design and deliver innovative solutions that resonate with and empower people.

  • My background is in UX consulting, where I worked with clients in the health care, real estate, telecommunication, and technology spaces to improve their enterprise tools and processes. Working with a broad range of clients and industries has allowed me an expansive understanding of the methods involved in creating and evaluating digital products.

    As a UX consultant, my curiosity paired with a fast-paced environment led me to answer UX questions through fly on the wall observation, impromptu interviews, and spur-of-the-moment A/B testing. I realized my growing fascination in the people using these tools and discovering their unique stories. Seeking a structured and methodological approach to uncovering insights, I pursued a Masters of Science in Human Factors in Information Design at Bentley University.

    Since then, I’ve helped improve the employee experience and developed innovative ways for customers to shop at Wayfair. Now, I’m looking for my next research opportunity!
